Family Memories *PNP Freebie*

Wendy has changed up her blog posts by condensing the layouts in to slideshows.  You may have noticed that from my previous post.  If you look through the slideshow, you may be able to find my layouts for inspiration, but in case you missed them, here they are again!

This seemed like a heritage-themed kit ... all that old-fashioned stuff.  You could use it for so many things, but I wanted to be sure and capture some of my heritage.
This is my grandmother ... and she is now a Great Grandmother!  For decades, the letters on her license plate were GGJ.  We used to joke that it stood for Great Grandma Jean.  And that was even before I was grown up enough to have kids and make it possible!
I made sure that I included the little shoe from the kit.  My grandma LOVES shoes!
The plaque element in the title has the quote from Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice, 'You must allow me to tell you how ardently I admire and love you.' ~Mr. Darcy.  I thought it was appropriate!
The background paper and flowers are from Prejudice by Wendy Tunison, Worn Papers and Cluster Frames by Wendy Tunison, plaque and shoe from Pride.
Alpha from Busy Bee by A+Designs.

I turn 30 this year.  It's an interesting birthday because so much has been made of it by our culture, but it doesn't feel any different - better or worse - than any other year.  It's as if I'm approaching this huge milestone and wondering what on earth all the fuss is about.  This layout has a picture of me at 9 months and me just before my birthday (I think I may use a replace the picture, but this is the only one of me taken this year ...).
All papers and elements are from Pride by Wendy Tunison.  Alpha from Heaven Sent by A+Designs.

This is a special family picture that I have been saving until the right layout.  This kit felt like it had  the right amount of elegance for it.  The picture was taken at a wedding in October 2010 in a gorgeous little garden.  You can't really see it, but my dress and my hubbie's tie are just the right color to match the papers ... my son's purple shirts stand out more, though!
The only thing not from Prejudice is the glitter leaves from Pride.  I didn't include a title because I couldn't think of one that would enhance it ...

And here is the freebie I made for you. It is a little simple, but original. I wanted a circular frame for my layout and didn't have one, so I made one from the rhinestones in the kit! Enjoy!

I hope you like them!
