I don't know why, but the wood grain on a paper in Dani Moy's latest release, Sugar Sugar, and these photos just called to me!
We saw this HUGE snapping turtle just as we were approaching our house ... it took us by surprise. I've never seen one even half this size!!! I wouldn't let the kids out of the car, but did get out and risk my life taking pictures ... well, it barely moved it's head so I guess I wasn't in any real danger :)
