The journaling reads:After 14 years as an enlisted soldier in the Army National Guard, Daddy went through Officer Candidate School and graduated as 2nd Lieutenant Kevin S. Hornung on July 31st, 2004.
Justin (only 5 days old) slept through the whole ceremony.
I used an Army paper pack that I bought at Michael's. The medal is actually one of Kevin's many Army Achievement medals.
