Little Shop of Sketches Wednesday!

Another two weeks, another sketch :)

Here is sketch #31:
Here is my take on it:
To see the other wonderful layouts done by the LSOS designers, go HERE. Such talented ladies!
If you do a layout based on the sketch and upload it to the gallery, you'll be entered to win a prize!

There's actually a bit of a story to go with this sketch ...
I originally started out with a picture I had just taken of Samantha ... so after fiddling around for a bit, this is what I came up with:
I did the journaling with a Journaling Junkie challenge in mind - writing a love letter to someone you care about. But, for many reasons, I wasn't entirely happy with the layout. It felt forced.

But, if I was writing love letters, I needed to write one to Justin and created this layout the same day. I'm working on the one to Andrew(baby) and debating on doing one for Kevin (hubby).

So, I just decided to do another one (refer to the layout above). I had the sweetest picture of Kevin and Samantha cuddling. It may not be the best photograph, but it brings back the most wonderful memory. Samantha was watching a Cinderella story on TV and was very into it - dancing and being excited when the characters were. It was really too cute for words. Kevin saw it and just had to go over and give her a hug. She was so happy to have daddy hug her and they watched the end of the show together. It's hard to explain, but it's just one of those moments that touch your heart.
I don't think I did the photo justice with my layout, but I'm not going to stress too much about it.

Perhaps I should do a supply list, but I am just so NOT in the mood, so contact me if you want to know something :)

I hope you enjoy them!

I think that top photo is lovely & your layout is great. You know I came up with that challenge at JJ to write the love letter so it is always so nice for me to see others using it ;-) Looks like you have been busy as usual.
